After filming on both the 8th and the 10th of February i decided to start again as i was unhappy with the original project. However, i thought that i would atleast finish putting it together so that i could take away good elements from it and learn from the mistakes i have made.
Cons:
Too many mid shots
The camera is too static
Storyline is unclear
Not stylish enough - In terms of lighting, cinematography, etc...
Im not in control of the mise-en-scene - i.e drum kit
Pros:
A couple reaction shots
A few close ups of the action - i.e the feet clashing
POV shot
Birds eye shot
Zooms
I also thought that i would start to look at different films than the ones that i have already looked, in particular the Kill Bill films. But all in all the new film needed to be more stylish and more in the old Kung Fu genre, as opposed to that of the Hollywood style as i would never have the budget to create such a film.
