Editing - Week beginning 16th March
This was the final week and thankfully all that i had to do was export the film onto DVD and then put it on YouTube - which I've done.
On Monday i messed around slightly with the title of the film as it fades out into red but that was about it.
This was fun, if not stressful!

Editing - Week beginning 9th March
This penultimate week i basically just finished off the film by editing little bits here and there. Either making cuts longer, or shorter, or messing around with sound levels and music.
For a lot of the time I was searching for sound effects for the punching. It took a while, but in the end i simply had to type in Kung Fu sound effects and it came up straight away. I also found a good leg break sound which when slowed down sounded perfect
For the majority of the week though i was trying to find an effect that put a worn look on the screen, as if it were a B-movie being played in an old 70's cinema. I thought effects in the noise and grain folder would have helped however it just made the screen look a bit dirty as if it hadn't been cleaned and that just wasn't good enough. In the end i just stuck with what i had and am happy with the results.

Editing - Week beginning 2nd March
In just one week things were already coming together, however there were still a couple of issues. One was that you couldnt hear the voices of the actors properly, and the other was that it wasnt really stylish enough. I wanted to give it a more sepia tone so using the tint effect i was able to lay down a more orangey/yellowish tone over the whole film.
As for the actors not being heard properly i decided instead to pay homage to old chinese kung fu films, in which all were dubbed. I decided to dub over the voices with my own and someone elses, Anthony McGowan's, on my Media lesson on Thursday. At first I thought about doing it completely out of sync but found that it actually worked quite well in-sync. However in the end i did make it slightly out so that it is still simliar to that of the old Kung Fu films.

Editing - Week Beginning 23rd Feb
After filming, i decided on the Monday after to upload the footage onto the computer before i got anything else done. As it happened it took three of my frees to upload all the footage up.
Over that week I took to editing everything into place making sure that it all ran smoothly - which it did.
On my two media lessons that Thursday and Friday i sought out music that would fit the fight scene and the credits leading up to the encounter of the two fighters in the scene. After going through an insane amount of copy right free music i came across both decent music for the fight scene as well as the tension building music before that. I thought that the oriental music playing as the two fighters are talking is particularly effective.

Sunday 1st February - filming
After returning from half term i booked out a camera immediately so that I would definitely be able to film over the coming weekend. As well as booking out a camera however I also used the lights provided by the college. It was all quite a struggle to it home, but did.
On the Sunday 1st, in the evening we took to filming at a community centre owned by the church where we had previously filmed. I had to make sure this time that we were in control of the mise en scene and so i had to take down all of the ballet posters and move out everything that would have got in the way.
The lights provided a strong silhouette and put a more stylish tinge on the whole production. Being that every shot was listed in a book it didn't take as long as previous productions had done, proving that it is better to plan ahead than to just rush in to it like i had the other one.
IN the end it just took a couple of hours and all in all i was pretty happy with the result so far.

New Scipt
Being that the names of the two characters in this new film aren't said i will just use the actors names. The new story is about a man (Sam) who is traveling the world searching for his equal in combat - he basically wants a warriors death so he challenges different people to see if they can kill him.
(Paul walks in)
Sam
Are you sure about this?
Paul
You've killed many of my friends... I've never been more sure!
Sam
They accepted my challenges
Paul
No... you tricked them
Sam
(chuckles) maybe... but if their bites were as big as their barks, then they'd still be here
Paul
Be that as it may, you can't go around like this, and I'll be the one the beat you!
Sam
(chuckles) Glad to hear it
(Fight Scene)
Sam
All I wanted was a warriors death... but you have not provided me with a challenge... you have wasted my time... and you are not my equal!

Half Term
During half term in February I got started on the new script as well as the storyboard. Due to the lack of time that i had to both film and edit it, i had to make sure that i knew every shot as well as i possibly could so that it could be filmed on one night.
It took me about two days but i finally got the storyboard done. I kept everything in a note book so that i wouldn't lose anything. I also had to contact a new cast, thankfully though one of the original cast could make it, Sam Hall, and it didn't take me long for me to find someone that he could fight.

Restart
After filming on both the 8th and the 10th of February i decided to start again as i was unhappy with the original project. However, i thought that i would atleast finish putting it together so that i could take away good elements from it and learn from the mistakes i have made.
Cons:
Too many mid shots
The camera is too static
Storyline is unclear
Not stylish enough - In terms of lighting, cinematography, etc...
Im not in control of the mise-en-scene - i.e drum kit
Pros:
A couple reaction shots
A few close ups of the action - i.e the feet clashing
POV shot
Birds eye shot
Zooms
I also thought that i would start to look at different films than the ones that i have already looked, in particular the Kill Bill films. But all in all the new film needed to be more stylish and more in the old Kung Fu genre, as opposed to that of the Hollywood style as i would never have the budget to create such a film.
